Liebl-Eichhorn Family Mysteries

Here are open questions about our family. Elisabeth Liebl came to America on the ship Rhein in 1888. She said she came from Bohemia, which is now in the Czech Republic. But where, exactly? Who were her parents? She said she was gypped out of her inheritance, part of a farm, by her step-brothers. Who were they? Does anyone know if they were children of her mother or of her father? She met Johann Eichhorn on board the Rhein. He left Germany because he didn't agree with the Kaiser. I have heard a rumor that he was from Eselorn, but where is that? Please edit this text, upload unidentified pictures, add your questions to the bulletin board, post fuzzy memories you want to clear up, etc.

September 2021, I got an answer from the Catholic church that includes Eslarn, in Bavaria, Admin region Oberpfalz, District Neustadt an der Waldnaab, Bavaria! They found Johann B. Eichhorn's baptismal record, with his parents' names! Anton Eichhorn and Christina Boesl! The copy is attached to Christina's profile. Christina Boesl

The FamilySearch records only mention the brother-in-law, John Eichhorn, as Johann B.'s father - not true. They are copies of each other.
